Benjamin L. Cwayna

Attorney, Certified Family Law Mediator, and Managing Member

A native of West Michigan, Ben has been practicing law since 2006. His practice focuses on family law, collections, criminal defense, estate planning, and other general practice areas. He is also a Certified Family Law Mediator.

Ben has been honored with representing hundreds of clients in the Mid-Michigan area and takes pride in teaching them the legal process along the way so that they learn the hows and whys of the court system. He has represented clients ranging from the individual to large and small businesses to the City of Grand Ledge and excels on behalf of all of them. He is honest, and dedicated and will always go the extra mile to assure that you are well represented in your case.

In his spare time, Ben is an avid lover of history and all things related to the American Civil War. He commands a local Civil War Reenactment Group and participates in battle reenactments throughout the country during the summer months of the year. In his experiences, he has had the opportunity to be a participant as an extra in the award-winning documentary regarding the Battle of Antietam and the major motion picture, “Gods and Generals.” He is also a member of the Grand Ledge Downtown Development Authority and the Grand Ledge Rotary Club, serving as the club’s president for 2014-2015.

Alysiah Mitchell-Wallace

Paralegal

In Alysiah’s spare time, she loves to spend time with her son and family, be in nature, or give her time back to the community of Grand Ledge. Alysiah sits on two boards in the Grand Ledge area; PTO President at Holbrook Elementary, and Trustee with the Grand Ledge Area District Library Board. She is compassionate, dedicated to helping others, and hard-working. Alysiah plans to pursue a law degree in the next few years and in the meantime, is eager to learn more about the law as a paralegal for Cwayna Law.
